My approach

Natural reportage, I observe, anticipate, never direct. At a venue like Les Quatre Saisons, I spend a lot of time outdoors, finding light in the open spaces, following couples through the estate rather than positioning them in front of backdrops.

Couple portraits often happen at the edge of the estate, in that moment when the late-afternoon light cuts through the trees horizontally and wraps everything in a particular warmth.
Simple, luminous, true images, that is what I am after.
